Fees & Appointments

Appointments

To reduce waiting, appointments are made. We make every endeavour to keep our patients waiting as little as possible and recognise that children get frustrated with long waits. However, there will be times that we are caught up with commitments and emergencies that take longer than expected.

Some children with genuine emergencies cannot wait and will be seen urgently whenever possible. Please ensure you leave your contact telephone numbers including mobile so we can contact you if we are delayed.

Fees

We endeavour to keep our fees as low as possible, to reduce financial burden on families.  Our fees are below those recommended by the Australian Medical Association and are to be paid on the day of consultation.

Payments can be made by cash, EFTPOS, visa and MasterCard.

We welcome new patients and continually aim to provide high quality, timely appointments for our patients. Referrals are required for medical appointments in order to make you eligible for Medicare reimbursement. Private health insurance does not make co-payment for clinic appointments (only in hospital services).

Surgical fees

Current health insurance products do not always cover the entire surgical fee for surgery performed in private hospitals.  All surgical fees will be clearly detailed at the time of booking procedures, and you will be given documented information covering any anticipated out-of-pocket expenses.
